Hi.

I'm Tara, a twenty-year-old Nerdfighter, Whovian, Sherlockian, Starkid, Hufflepuff, and Gleek. I'm currently majoring in English Literature and English Education. I like to sing and read and write and play Quidditch and I think the internet is pretty cool.
My Fandoms: Sherlock. Doctor Who. Cabin Pressure. Starkid. Glee. Harry Potter. Firefly. Buffy. Merlin. Supernatural. Misfits. Lord of the Rings. And others that I can't remember at the moment.

I think you should be my friend. <3 I promise, I don't bite.

It requires precision
Forget John and Sherlock
You’re my division.

Mycroft is fat
Sherlock is thinner
I’ll be your Irene
Let’s have dinner.

Roses are red.
Skulls are white.
I made you some coffee,
My conductor of light.

I’ll wear my jumper,
You make us some tea.
We’ll be friends forever

HAPPY JOHNLOCK DAY, EVERYONE.

For today is that magnificent day when Sherlock Holmes and John Watson first encountered each other, and it is cause for great celebrations across the land.

In honor of this day, I would like to proclaim my love for Lauren, the John to my Sherlock.

Lauren, as your Sherlock, I swear that I would

  • solve crimes with you
  • show off in front of you (a lot)
  • never get the milk
  • get you into dangerous situations and then try to save you at the last minute
  • fake my own suicide so you wouldn’t be sniper’d
  • possibly be a jerk (insults, drugging coffee, etc) BUT
  • always be your friend forever

HAPPY JOHNLOCK DAY.

Sometimes I just ask myself what the hell I’m even doing.
But really, the only thing I regret is not having made this sooner.

Noteworthy things from the show choir competition I went to this evening:

  • So many grey shiny suits, oh my god.
  • Two choirs did “Firework,” and two did “Dynamite.”
  • One girl totally faceplanted off the risers and it was kind of funny but I felt bad for her.
  • I still don’t like DeKalb after six years of watching them and I can say that and not feel bad because I don’t have to compete against them anymore, haha.
  • Mike Weaver is still the king of re-using his own choreography on other groups
  • The Carroll girls group were definitely dancing with chairs while wearing, like, lingerie, to a really risque song - what has happened to the show choir world because I would really like to know when this became an okay thing especially because four years ago my choir got yelled at just for having slightly seductive facials.
  • Tear-off dresses. Everyone uses them. They are not a special thing anymore. So people should stop.
  • All of my love to all of the back-up bands because they were all fantastic.

I. Love. Show choir.

So I had to get off the internet because my family wanted to watch Netflix, and our wifi and Netflix do not work simultaneously for some reason

After a while I was bored (because no internet) and so I went down to see what they were watching. And I found out that they were watching “High School Musical.”

EFFING HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. But I had nothing to do so I watched the last bit of it with them.

And at first I was like, “UGH THIS MOVIE. Why are you even bothering.”

(Apparently my mother has never seen it, and my twelve-year-old cousin is over to visit, so that’s why they picked it.)

But after ten minutes, I realized that I still know ALL OF THE WORDS. And ALL OF THE CHOREOGRAPHY. To ALL OF THE SONGS. How did I realize that? Because I caught myself dancing to “Bop to the Top.”

And I was really embarrassed about that. Because, you know, it’s HSM. But then my sister was like “I know it all too, no shame here.” But my mother was like “…wat. Why do you know this.” And I was just like

Annnnnnnd that’s how my night went.
